Bouvard on NatCon Israel discourse and generational rifts

By Dennis Bouvard

Plain text

It's funny that NatCon participants have to plead with us to watch the whole speech because NatCon chose the most "edgy" clips to show. Amanda Milius seems to have gotten especially bad treatment in this regard, but her talk is completely plaintive and I do wonder whether it is

true that every right-winger under 40 hates Israel or only our guys under 40 who hate Israel. To the extent that it's the latter, some introspection among pro-Israel NatConners might be called for, but the movement seems especially ill-equipped for encouraging that.

She's right that a completely new American Jewish leadership is necessary but one that does what is necessary will be disliked far more by the groyper enjoying youth. She does concede that the youth she defers to are completely driven by lies.

And she did mention Tucker Carlson in passing, implicitly critically but as one who is popular because he's "funny and charismatic," descriptions which apply much more accurately to Fuentes than the dour, obsessive, cackling Carlson.
