Bouvard on Vance, Carlson, and Groyper Politics

By Dennis Bouvard

Plain text

Tucker Carlson is helping transfer the "America First" brand to the jihadi-leftist alliance and JD Vance is helping him do that. He obviously weakened his endorsement of Mike Rogers out of fealty to Carlson and helps cover up El-Sayed's jihadi links.

I think the groypers are wrong to not trust Vance. At this point I have to say he's a true believer, thoroughly shaped by th 2010s online right.

@SiobhanShamwow Yes, but I think they're wrong (not that I mind). There's a reason he wants them to like him so much.

@SiobhanShamwow I started wondering, though--has he ever said anything about Fuentes's demonization of Jews, or did the remarks about his wife give him a convenient way of posturing against Fuentes without touching on the substance?

@SiobhanShamwow Yes, he has clumsily repeated Carlson's supposed criticism of Fuentes, which is weird because Fuentes, as far as I know, doesn't really focus on much Jews as being somehow "genetically" guilty. He basically sees them as a usurping ruling class.

@SiobhanShamwow But we can't treat Vance like a young man trying to figure out what he thinks--he's VP, presumably hoping to be the next POTUS. If he were to take a break from politics after this term to think things through, that would be worthy of sympathy.

@SiobhanShamwow I avoid prognosticating but I do think contenders will emerge

@SiobhanShamwow So, were you referring to Fuentes above as the one who is young and whose views are stille evolving? Sorry--I thought that you were referring to Vance. Fuentes oscillates between trying to think things through for himself and trying to hold on to his audience.

@SiobhanShamwow Hence all the jokes about him converting.

@SiobhanShamwow I suppose we’ll find out.

@SiobhanShamwow I've always pretty much ignored Fuentes and I don't see any difficulty in continuing to do so. The only reason I pay attention to Carlson is because of the connection to Vance, who poses the question of whether these factions go mainstream or become subcultures.

@SiobhanShamwow Not until we have candidates running and winning on this stuff.
