Bouvard on Hitler's Intentions and Global Consequences

By Dennis Bouvard

Plain text

It's interesting to see some highly regarded political thinkers arguing that the British (and, by implication, US) attitude toward the Nazi regime should have restricted itself to an understanding of Hitler's intentions in 1939.

@slooperbia50068 I just saw Yarvin’s post

And, moreover, only those intentions directly relevant to the UK.

@slooperbia50068 I like to do better than "interesting" but sometimes the information is time sensitive and I don't want to mull over it for a few hours. It's a kind of ostensive--"look at that." There are other posters but, without Yarvin chiming in I probably wouldn't have done so myself.

@slooperbia50068 I.e., show no interest in consequences, in the reshaping of global power brought about by Hitler's conquest of Europe and devastation of East Europe. If victorious, why, exactly, would he or his successors stop there?

@slooperbia50068 What does it mean? Isn't it a receipt for your subscription?

@truepeers I suspect they saw the necessity of passing the torch and assumed, not unreasonably, that it would be a joint project with them as junior members.
