Bouvard on Post-Marxist Leftism and Terror
The left after Marxism might very well be pol potian. Violent imposition of absolute equality and the destruction of any relation to which historic injustice can be attributed, I.e., every relation. As close to pure terror as possible,
In this way the left may approach pure, originary, undistilled, leftism. At root that's what the left is--Marxism was a kind of Katechon restraining pure leftism, but it's not going to do that anymore.
@elocinationn I think that any community past the most elementary hunter-gatherer stage has an originary distribution of something like property which is then continued and subject to redistribution in various ways. I see leftism as the conviction that this originary distribution is unjust
@elocinationn and must be abolished and redone according to contemporary standards of justice. In a sense, leftism is right--there is something "arbitrary" in the originary distribution, but, of course, any "reset" will have plenty of arbitrariness as well. Which is why any leftist
@elocinationn redistribution will be subject to further leftist attacks.
@BAARTMNS @elocinationn Demands for further redistribution can take many forms. And it is often mitigated along the way. We rarely see pure leftism because those conducting it want to keep their own property.
