The Central Signifier
It's a very promising line of inquiry. I think of centered ordinality as a way of representing hierarchy (first, second, third...), so I'm not sure every position within a centered ordinality has to have an opposite. But perhaps there's a mathematical proof to be made to that effect. Maybe each position has more than one opposite.
