Objective morality and NeoAbsolutism

Morality always has to be grounded in deferral--the deferral of some mimetic rivalry that would lead to a crisis of the community. In more advanced societies, this primarily means deferring scapegoating, i.e., violently centralizing an individual as the source of the community's crisis.
