@adam What is your view of this? One of the key claims seems to be about the need to put up a barrier between the Low and the High using the Middle. There is a few things here inconsistent, it seems, with absolutism. Also makes use of a computer science analogy.
They talk about it in terms of breaking down hierarchies and distributing power, ultimately to individuals, but it sounds to me like "genetic takeover" is a way of consolidating hierarchies by limiting them to the kind of responsibility needed for a particular practice. I do see ordered hierarchies, where everyone deals directly with whomever is right above and below on, as the "middle." But genetic takeover would have to be a real "takeover"--it's not something that will happen all by itself, because of "complexity" or even because it's more efficient (it could happen here or there, of course, but liberalism will always subvert it).
