Bouvard on Vance Movement's Anti-Israel Rhetoric

Dennis Bouvard · X / Twitter · Jul 30, 2026 · 1 min read

I think the Vancers (i.e., Carlsonites) are, under pressure, becoming more explicit and moving toward using the epithet "Israel Firsters" more often and discarding vaguer euphemisms like "neocon," "nevertrumper," etc. They need to further consolidate and be clear about the enemy.

Perhaps as 2028 approaches they will get more explicit, first of all making some trial runs on the margins. Another move they are making is to point out some Vance/Rubio overlap in terms of the "common good," so as to advance the specious claim that Vance is only called out on it

because he doesn't give Israel everything it wants, doesn't kiss the wall, etc., etc. One of Vance's collaborators on his book also laid out the "case for Vance" on X earlier today. The Vance campaign is probably putting its cards on the table earlier than it had wanted to.

@slooperbia50068 I would prefer it without the apps.
